Program Description:
Behavior services are available for all ages and focus on an individual’s targeted goals through 1:1 services. A functional behavior assessment will allow identification of problem behaviors and situations that increase or decrease those behaviors. Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) strategies and positive reinforcement strategies are used to address and change the targeted behaviors. Social skills, communication skills, and other relevant skills will build the individual’s independence. This program offers Parent Training to help the family have positive behavior outcomes. Parent Trainings are typically an in-home service and are available to any family members that could play a role in supporting the individual’s positive behavior outcomes. Funding Sources:

ABA/Private Insurance:
This program is available once an individual’s diagnosis has been verified. Services can begin as early as 18 months old. However, private insurance doesn’t usually cover payments past 21 years of age. Typically, the program serves those with Autism but any diagnosis can be considered if benefits for independent progress can be supported with ABA. Scheduling is determined per each individual’s need. Assessments and treatment plans are facilitated by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Treatment plans can be designed to incorporate programming with OAC in group settings with 1:1 services where appropriate. This is intended to be an intense therapy targeting behavior interventions and shaping skills for independent success. Parent Training is also available for this program (see Behavior Services section for explanation).
