We are writing to you today because we value the health, safety and well-being of our clients, staff and families. As you are aware, there are concerns surrounding the COVID-19 Coronavirus. We are not aware of any confirmed cases in our local community or schools at this time but we are taking preventative measures for the safety of all.

Amanda Owen, our Executive Director, has been staying in close contact with our governing offices to make sure that the facility is following required procedures and protocol.
Puzzle Pieces Campus has implemented an action plan:
  • No trips off campus effective Friday, March 12, 2020
  • NO FOOD will be delivered to the facility, so therefore all clients need to have a lunch packed for them to eat on campus.
  • We will continue to provide services to our clients as long as the health, safety and well-being of our clients can be ensured.
  • If a client shows flu-like symptoms, elevated temperature, fever, cough or shortness of breath they will be asked to go home immediately and will not be able to return without a doctor’s note.
  • PLEASE do not send your child if they exhibit any of the above symptoms.
  • Staff will not be able to leave the facility once they report to work until their shift ends.
  • We are limiting traffic of guests into our facility, however if therapists need to continue to service they will be asked to follow the handwashing entering procedure.
  • All common used areas will be frequently lysoled and cleaned.
  • We are cleaning bathrooms and changing areas every hour with recommended cleaning solutions, per the CDC.
  • We are stocking as much supplies as we can to ensure we can maintain this action plan for as long as possible, until prevention measures are lifted.
In the Event of School closings:
  • If your child is currently enrolled in Puzzle Pieces Campus After-school program regularly we will need to know IMMEDIATELY if you are in need of day services in the event that schools are closed. This would be available if your family has no other options for child care and if we have staff available.  We will take this on a case by case situation, due to staffing.
We take this health risk very seriously and want to keep the lines of communication open.   If cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) are confirmed in our community, we will immediately notify families and the steps needed in conjunction with our local health department to ensure that our campus is safe for our clients and staff.

In conclusion, at this time we are doing everything possible to prevent germs from spreading in order to ensure operation as normal.  Our administration team has come with a variety of plans to support continued operations long term.  It is our priority to keep everyone's safety our number one priority while also providing the much needed support to our families and clients.  We will continue to monitor and communicate our upcoming plans as state mandates and guidance comes down.
